SoundSide ("we," "us," or "our") is an AI-powered music management platform for independent artists. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information about artists and visitors who use our platform at soundside.polsia.app (the "Service").
Information We Collect
Account information. When you sign up for SoundSide, you provide your name, email address, and a password. You may also add an artist profile including your artist name, genre, bio, social media handles, and links.
Audio samples. If you upload audio clips to your artist profile, we store those files to display on your public profile.
Content you generate. SoundSide generates social media posts on your behalf using AI. Generated posts and your posting history are stored so you can review and manage your content.
Payment information. We use Stripe for subscription billing. Your card details are handled directly by Stripe — SoundSide does not store raw payment card numbers. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your access to the Service.
Usage data. We collect anonymized page view statistics and conversion funnel events to understand how artists use SoundSide. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual users.
Email communications. If you opt in to our weekly engagement digest or onboarding emails, we track delivery and open rates to improve our communications. You can unsubscribe at any time using the one-click link in any email.
How We Use Your Information
- Provide and maintain the SoundSide Service, including AI post generation, analytics, and venue matching
- Process your subscription and manage billing through Stripe
- Send you weekly digests, onboarding emails, and product updates you have opted into
- Respond to your support requests
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse of the Service
- Improve and develop new features based on aggregated usage patterns
Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for 90 days before deleting it, except where we are legally required to retain it longer. Generated posts and analytics data may be retained in aggregated, anonymized form indefinitely.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Stripe. Your payment information is processed by Stripe under their privacy policy. See stripe.com/privacy.
- Service providers. We use OpenAI for AI text and audio generation under OpenAI's data usage policies. We use Polsia's infrastructure to host the Service.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, such as in response to a valid court order or government request.
Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS) for all data in transit. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plaintext. Access to our production database is restricted to authorized personnel and requires authentication.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can update your profile information at any time from your SoundSide Settings page. To request data export or deletion, email support@polsia.com with your request. We will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
SoundSide uses minimal cookies necessary for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features of the Service may not function properly without them.
Children's Privacy
SoundSide is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18.
International Users
SoundSide is operated from the United States. If you are located outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US under the terms of this policy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the Service at least 30 days before the change takes effect. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.

Terms of Service
By subscribing to a paid SoundSide plan (AI Manager or Venue Plus), you agree to the following terms:
- Your subscription is monthly and remains active until you cancel. Cancel anytime from your Settings page; access continues through the end of the current billing period.
- Your card is charged automatically each billing cycle on the renewal date until you cancel.
- Subscriptions are non-refundable once a paid period has started, but you can cancel any time to avoid future charges. If something looks wrong with a charge, email support@polsia.com and we'll review it.
- Prices are shown in USD. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice before the change takes effect.
